Travail employment group are delighted to be working with a very successful Hydrotherapy Centre company in Sheffield and Chesterfield area, who are looking for an Animal Hydrotherapist to join their Hydrotherapy team. Working within a team of 3 you will be reporting to the Senior Hydrotherapist. You will be responsible for:
- Operating underwater treadmills to support small animal rehabilitation and recovery.
- Monitoring animal movement, comfort and progress during treatment.
- Ensuring animal welfare, safe handling and stress-free sessions.
- Cleaning, maintain and safely operate hydrotherapy equipment.
- Recording treatment sessions and report progress or concerns.
- Communicating with veterinary professionals, colleagues and pet owners.
The successful Animal Hydrotherapist will:
- Hold a level 4 in Canine Hydrotherapy (essential).
- Practical experience operating underwater treadmills and supporting animal recovery.
- Animal handling skills and a good understanding of animal behaviour and welfare.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, mobility issues and safe treatment practices.
- Good record-keeping and observation skills to monitor progress and maintain accurate treatment records.
This role would suit someone who has been working as an Animal Hydrotherapist, Canine Hydrotherapist or Hydrotherapist.
- Monday – Friday
- Flexible working hours: Start and finish times between 7:00am and 8:00pm, depending on scheduled appointments.
- Working hours (full-time and part-time opportunities). Full-time positions involve 37.5 hours per week.
