Description

• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards, particularly IFRS16
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements.
• Setting up a formal cash flow forecast
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

The successful Interim Financial Accountant will get in return:

• Daily rate of £270 to £300, Via Umbrella dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract with a not-for-profit organisation in Oxford.
