Scrum Master

Overview

In this Scrum Master role, you will enable Agile delivery within our Cyber division to help reduce global threats. You will work with delivery teams to embed Agile practices and accelerate value-driven outcomes. You’ll engage with cross-functional stakeholders to remove impediments and foster collaboration, while receiving formal and on-the-job development. This position supports a mission-critical area with strong emphasis on continuous improvement and agile maturity across teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events and team health checks
• Promote and embed Agile principles across the team and organisation
• Bring resistant team members along the Agile journey and incorporate their feedback
• Define value within the team context and coach how to break work into value-driven deliverables
• Identify and remove impediments proactively
• Help teams mature in Agile practices and empower problem solving
• Support negotiation and conflict resolution
• Foster positive relationships across teams and organisations
• Support Product Owner with backlog prioritisation and product goals/vision
• Coach and advocate Agile practices for Scrum teams and wider organisation
• Champion best practices and continuous improvement in team, delivery, and self-organization

Key requirements

• Strong facilitation and coaching skills for navigating complex challenges
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
• Knowledge and practical application of Agile fundamentals
• Ability to influence without authority
• Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
• Keen to learn, collaborate, and share best practices across the business and customers
• Awareness of latest technology trends and software development models
• Ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships
• Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
