Location: Warminster (BA12)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)

We are recruiting a Chef to join our team to assist in running the kitchen operation in a residential care home.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast, lunch, and supper according to menu specifications and order sheets.
• Prepare baked items for the coffee shop and cater private dining requests as needed.
• Supervise Kitchen Assistants and Hosts, ensuring food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are met.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly due diligence records and assist with stock ordering.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Cover for the Chef Manager during periods of absence.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a catering environment, ideally within elderly care.
• Working knowledge of Food Hygiene, COSHH, and Manual Handling.
• Ability to work a 40-hour weekly rota and carry out physical tasks safely.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
