Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Location: Lutterworth, LE17 – Magna ParkPay Rate: £15.21 per hourShift: 14:00 – 22:00Working Days: Monday to FridayContract: Temporary to PermanentStart Date: ASAPAbout the RoleSiamo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced VNA Driver to join a well-established and busy distribution centre based in Magna Park, Lutterworth.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is confident operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift and is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.You will be joining a friendly and professional warehouse team, supporting the day-to-day movement, storage and organisation of stock within the distribution centre.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a VNA Driver, your main duties will include:
- Safely operating a VNA forklift within a busy warehouse and distribution environment.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Moving pallets and stock to and from designated storage locations.
- Placing and retrieving pallets from high-level racking.
- Picking and replenishing stock as required.
- Ensuring goods are stored accurately and securely.
- Following warehouse procedures and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Carrying out daily checks on the VNA truck and reporting any defects or issues.
- Working closely with warehouse colleagues to maintain an efficient operation.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Meeting productivity and accuracy targets while maintaining high standards of safety.
- Completing any additional warehouse duties as required by the management team.
Candidate RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must:
- Have previous VNA driving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Hold a full, in-date VNA licence.
- Be confident operating a VNA truck at height and within narrow warehouse aisles.
- Have good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to your working hours.
- Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
- Be available to start ASAP.
Working HoursThe standard working hours are:Monday to Friday: 14:00 – 22:00This is a consistent weekday shift, making the role suitable for candidates looking for regular working hours without weekend work.Pay & Benefits
