Welder/Fabricator urgently required to join a leading UK manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role within a specialist Production Team, where you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality stainless steel equipment. Working in a modern engineering environment, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving manufacturing processes, and contributing to the development of specialised products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel to specification
- Perform TIG welding and MIG welding duties on stainless steel components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Ensure all products meet strict quality standards before inspection
- Support the development of improved manufacturing methods and tooling
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
- Contribute to the production of specialist and bespoke housing designs
Requirements
- Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
- MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working within an engineering workshop or fabrication environment
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
- Sheet metal fabrication experience would be advantageous
