Submarine Safety Engineer Apprentice (Fully Funded Degree)

Babcock’s Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) team in Bristol runs a five‑year Safety Engineering Degree Apprentice programme. You will gain a fully funded BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing from UWE, while supporting MoD submarine safety projects and developing your professional judgement.

You’ll study two days a week in year one, expanding to one day in year two, and rotate at Bristol/Devonport sites.
