At North Middlesex we have a well equipped Delivery Suite & triage which offers care to women from Enfield and Haringey who come from a diverse range of backgrounds. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic midwife to co-ordinate and lead shifts on our Delivery suite & triage, working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team and management to provide a high-standard of safe, women-centred care.

The role is multifaceted and will require an ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety of women and staff at all times. The postholder will need a high level of clinical experience and must act as a role model and supervisor to junior staff and students and set the tone for a healthy and safe work culture.
The role involves coordinating shifts on the labour ward & triage, assessing acuity, prioritising and delegating appropriately, being mindful of skill mix and other unit pressures, escalating concerns as required.
