Construction Associate – Bristol – Hybrid

Overview

In this role you work within a Bristol-based construction team to deliver high-quality, non-contentious construction work for developers, contractors, consultants and funders. You will draft and negotiate core contracts and documentation, support real estate transactions, and assist on dispute matters, all under the guidance of an experienced partner. The role offers exposure to commercial development, residential schemes, and emerging clean energy projects in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, alongside bespoke construction documentation
• Advising on consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and project security documents
• Supporting real estate transactions and collaborating with wider legal teams
• Assisting with construction-related dispute matters where required

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience
• Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and ability to build lasting client relationships
