Sr. Manager – Trust Strategy & Ops

Overview

In this role you will shape the trust strategy for new platforms and acquisitions, driving readiness and scaling capabilities to support growth while protecting marketplace integrity. You will partner with multiple teams to align priorities and accelerate delivery of high-impact initiatives. You’ll build long-term roadmaps, assess risks, and guide investments to strengthen trust across eBay’s evolving ecosystem. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role with a meaningful impact on customer experience and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Shape trust strategy for new platforms and acquisitions
• Scale shared trust capabilities across businesses
• Drive strategic investment decisions and build business cases
• Lead and deliver high-impact programs with clear success metrics
• Foster cross-functional partnerships with Trust, Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Legal
• Improve operating models and governance to simplify complex initiatives
• Lead and develop a team of strategy and program leaders

Key requirements

• 7+ years of experience in eCommerce, Trust and Safety, Strategy & Operations, or related fields with increasing leadership responsibilities
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and execution skills
• Proven cross-functional leadership and influence across diverse teams
• Experience with platform and business strategy to scale capabilities
• Program leadership across multiple complex initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority
• Knowledge of trust and safety, marketplace dynamics, risk management, and growth considerations
