Transport Traffic Controller

Overview

In this role you will monitor transport costs, investigate discrepancies and coordinate incident records to support cost control and continuous improvement. You will work closely with planning teams and external partners to ensure queries are resolved efficiently, driving accuracy in transport charges. Responsibilities

• Track, investigate and resolve additional transport charges through digital platforms, ensuring timely processing of cost-related queries
• Challenge and validate charges, liaising with external partners to resolve discrepancies and maintain cost control
• Log, monitor and escalate incidents within internal systems, supporting operational improvement
• Act as a key control function between planning teams, coordinating activities and providing administrative and operational support to ensure a safe and efficient transport planning operation

Key requirements

• Strong attention to detail in managing transport costs and incident data
• Confident, tenacious communicator able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with administration is essential; accounts or finance administration desirable
• Some transport or logistics experience is preferred (e.g., Transport Administrator/Clerk/Controller)
