Head of Quantum Expert Services

Overview

In this role you will lead the Quantum Expert Witness capability within a respected dispute resolution and forensic consultancy. You will join the London and UK leadership team, guiding the Quantum Expert practice and mentoring colleagues, while contributing to market the service domestically. You will work on high-value multi-million to billion disputes, investigations and arbitrations, delivering expert testimony and strategic insight. The firm offers a collaborative, people-focused culture and supports you to build a leading construction expert witness capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quantum Expert Witness testimony and support across construction and engineering disputes
• Handle high-value multi-million to billion disputes, investigations and arbitrations
• Join and contribute to the London/UK leadership team and head the Quantum Expert team
• Drive business development and market the practice domestically as required
• Develop and manage new and existing experts/consultants in the practice

Key requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Chartered status and additional qualifications in construction law (preferred)
• Proven progression and high technical aptitude
• Experience with cross-examination (ideally)
• Confident, articulate communicator with strong English skills
• Background with main contractor in building, infrastructure or power sectors (preferred)
