Desktop Deployment Engineer- Level 1

Overview

In this role you will support a Windows 11 migration project on-site in Wimbledon, delivering Level 1 desktop engineering. You will assist with device provisioning, user onboarding, and hands-on hardware setup while troubleshooting issues and logging incidents. You’ll work closely with users to ensure smooth migrations and maintain configurations throughout the rollout. This is an onsite, short-term assignment focused on delivering a successful Windows upgrade and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Support device and user migrations to Windows 11
• Hardware deployment, installation, and setup
• User account configuration and onboarding
• Provide Level 1 desktop support to end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Incident logging, investigation, and resolution
• Manage user and device configurations throughout the migration process

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a Desktop Support, IT Support or Deployment role
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Experience with migration, deployment, rollout, or refresh projects
