Solicitor / Associate – Property Damage – Subrogated Recoveries

Overview

In this role, you will manage a caseload of property-related insurance claims, focusing on subrogated recoveries and policy coverage. You will work with the Commercial Insurance team to meet client requirements, assess risk, and drive efficient case handling within service levels. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior team members, contributing to the firm’s client-focused, inclusive culture. Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of property-related claims
• Understand client requirements and align work with SLAs and best practice
• Analyse risk and justify decisions internally and to clients
• Prioritise work for efficiency and throughput
• Contribute to team efficiency and case-load management within technical bounds
• Build internal and external relationships to understand client needs and firm direction
• Provide support and act as go-to person for junior team members

Key requirements

• 2+ years PQE experience
• strong interest in property damage work with focus on policy coverage and subrogated recoveries
• prior experience handling an insurance property-related caseload
• technical expertise in Commercial Insurance matters
