Junior AI & Automation Specialist

Overview

In this hands-on role you will build and ship custom AI tools, agents, and automations used by our range of agencies. You’ll own delivery end-to-end, from scoping with stakeholders to deploying internal tools and MVPs for clients. You’ll work with OpenAI/Anthropic LLMs and cloud services to automate reporting, workflows, and client-facing AI products. The role centers on turning ideas into usable products that scale across the group, with opportunities to embed AI in client functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship internal AI tools, agents, and automations for daily agency use
• Automate reporting, monitoring, and workflow tasks across the group
• Prototype and deliver client-facing MVPs of AI products with the AI team
• Embed AI within communications workflows for internal and client contexts
• Scope use cases with stakeholders and translate into working solutions
• Integrate with LLM APIs and managed AI services on AWS/Azure
• Deploy serverless functions, connect APIs, data sources, auth, and light front-ends
• Use workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make) for lower-code needs
• Maintain and improve existing tools and align with Group IT security standards

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience building agents, workflows, or automations in a company setting
• Proficiency with Python and scripting; API/webhook integration; auth and permissions
• Direct experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS or Azure); serverless functions and managed AI services
• Working knowledge of workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make)
• Frontend basics to build usable interfaces (HTML, React, CSS/Tailwind)
• SQL and relational databases knowledge for data querying and integration
• Experience with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth/OIDC; Auth0, Entra ID)
• Git/GitHub and good repo hygiene
