Senior Backend Developer

Job Description

• We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in financial derivatives and enterprise backend systems.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable applications within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices for derivatives trading, pricing, risk, and post-trade workflows.
• Build and optimize data models for trades, positions, cashflows, lifecycle events, and complex financial instruments.
• Develop solutions supporting Vanilla Options, Option Strategies, OTC Derivatives, and Structured Products.
• Implement trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, validation, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Integrate with market data feeds, trading platforms, risk systems, exchanges, and clearing houses.
• Develop real-time event-driven solutions for pricing, risk calculations, and trade processing.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers, business analysts, and quantitative teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
