Overview

Dans ce rôle, you provide hands-on regulatory expertise for global packaging compliance, leading key regulatory initiatives and ensuring evidence-backed conformity. You will shape packaging standards and documentation, collaborating with Sustainability and Procurement to embed regulation into specifications. The position focuses on translating complex rules into actionable requirements for the business and guiding the PPWR implementation. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to reduce risk and strengthen compliance across packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory expertise and risk assessments on global packaging legislation
• Own day-to-day packaging regulatory activities and lead strategic regulatory programs
• Prepare and maintain Declarations of Conformity and supporting compliance documentation
• Lead implementation of key packaging legislation (e.g., PPWR)
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical technical specifications and controls
• Establish and improve global packaging compliance processes
• Collaborate with Packaging Sustainability, Procurement, and technical teams
• Support regulatory input into packaging development, innovation and material changes
• Maintain regulatory records and evidence for audits and inquiries
• Provide training and coaching to build regulatory capability across teams
• Support digitalisation of regulatory processes while maintaining controls
• Represent Packaging Regulatory in cross-functional projects and governance forums

Key requirements

• Relevant Qualification in Technical/Science or Law
• Significant regulatory experience in packaging legislation, preferably in food or consumer goods
• Knowledge of EU legislative processes; other jurisdictions desirable
• Comfort with complexity and ambiguity; strong influencing and cross-functional delivery track record
