Disputes Associate

Overview

In this role you will handle diverse dispute matters within a busy, conflict-free London boutique. You will work on commercial and cross-border disputes, civil fraud, shareholder and fiduciary issues, investigations, and international arbitration, often taking the lead with clients. You will operate in a lean team, gaining responsibility and autonomy from an early stage. This is a chance to shape high-stakes litigation for corporates, investors, and HNW individuals in a supportive, client-facing environment. The firm seeks a technically strong, commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, jurisdiction-spanning practice and wants meaningful, standalone responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and run disputes matters with direct client contact from early stages
• Contribute to strategy across commercial litigation and cross-border disputes
• Work on civil fraud, asset tracing, and shareholder/joint venture disputes
• Handle contentious trusts, fiduciary matters and investigations (fraud, bribery, corruption)
• Participate in international arbitration and related proceedings

Key requirements

• 2–5 years PQE
• Trained and qualified at a leading City or international firm
• Strong academic record
• Solid experience in commercial litigation and complex disputes
• Technically strong, commercially minded, confident dealing directly with clients
