Infrastructure Architect

Overview

In this role you will lead and shape the IT infrastructure architecture and integration across global teams, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. You will own target architectures, data integration, and roadmaps while partnering with service partners and vendors. This hybrid position focuses on consolidating O365, implementing disaster recovery, and driving IT transformation with governance. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver on strategic objectives and improve security posture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture design and delivery for global O365 consolidation
• Design and implement robust, cost-effective disaster recovery for key applications
• Own workflow design between core system applications and functions
• Own end-architecture target designs and viable interim states
• Own data integration complexity and simplification efforts
• Own architectural and operational design and roadmaps
• Ensure solutions are secure by design with minimal customization
• Support and train technical/business leads using agile decision making
• Choose appropriate technical solutions and products
• Document technology landscape, interfaces, and data flows
• Plan and coordinate new/modified services with design and implementation focus
• Provide monthly dashboards on security, IoT, endpoint/server security, and application security with KPIs to IT director
• Maintain up-to-date solution architecture diagrams/workflows for IT programs
• Provide progress and risk reports to management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the IT Director to ensure adherence to security policies across regions

Key requirements

• Microsoft/AWS architecture experience
• Agile methodology experience
• Experience interacting with business and technology leaders
• Experience designing physical data models (relational SQL desirable)
• Experience rolling out mid-to-large platforms from inception to production
• SQL, Java, Oracle, Kubernetes exposure
• Hardware and software virtualization techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
