A well-established and highly regarded fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team in Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor with a Level 4 qualification to work on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and complex buildings across Bristol and the South West.

The Fire Risk Assessor’s Role
- Undertake detailed fire risk assessments across residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.
- Carry out Type 1-4 fire risk assessments where competent and appropriately experienced.
- Identify fire safety deficiencies and recommend suitable remedial actions.
- Produce comprehensive, accurate fire risk assessment reports.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety legislation and compliance.
- Liaise with property managers, building owners and key stakeholders.
- Manage assessments independently while maintaining high professional standards.
The Fire Risk Assessor
- Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent qualification – Essential.
- Proven experience working as a Fire Risk Assessor within a consultancy or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Experience assessing complex residential or commercial properties.
- Membership of the IFSM or IFE is desirable.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
