Launch Excellence PMO – IBEX

Overview

In this role you shape end-to-end launch success for AstraZeneca’s medicines, coordinating across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Supply, Digital and Analytics. You drive integrated planning, governance and cross-functional alignment to deliver launches with speed and impact. You will act as the catalyst between strategy and execution, surfacing risks and enabling informed decisions. This position offers the opportunity to build launch excellence across multiple therapy areas and contribute to patient outcomes and growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage end-to-end launch plans connecting pre-launch, launch and post-launch workstreams
• Establish governance structures, readiness reviews and decision-making processes for timely launches
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders across functions and markets
• Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into actions
• Create clear communications for launch teams and senior leaders; support adoption of new processes and tools
• Implement best-practice PMO approaches, dashboards and reporting to ensure transparency and compliance
• Monitor budgets and external partners, ensuring value and quality from vendors
• Capture lessons learned and build scalable frameworks to strengthen launch capabilities

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience leading or supporting complex, cross-functional projects in pharma or life sciences
• Strong project and programme management capabilities with dependency, risk and stakeholder management
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical launches or major brand initiatives
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical governance, market access, regulatory processes and launch readiness

• Excellent stakeholder management
• Strong communication and influencing ability
• Ability to work across matrix organisations
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Prosci or equivalent certification
• Advanced analytics with dashboards and performance metrics
• Experience with governance, risk management and funding tracking
