Overview

In this role you will design, build and maintain the organisation-wide BI infrastructure to provide a single view of business data and partner data. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver data pipelines, warehousing, and semantic models that enable data-driven decisions. Expect a hands-on environment using modern cloud platforms, ETL/ELT, and BI tooling to drive quality, automation, and agile delivery. Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain organisation-wide BI infrastructure
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data lakes/warehouses
• Develop and maintain semantic models and BI reports using Power BI/SSAS
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and pipeline monitoring; troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Support CI/CD, source control and DevOps practices for BI delivery
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, files and other sources
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions

Key requirements

• Strong data engineering experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling (Kimball) and data architecture
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL for query development and optimisation
• Programming experience in Python, PySpark or similar for data manipulation
• Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, and files
• Experience with data quality, pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting
• Experience with BI semantic models and tools (Power BI, SSAS or similar)
• Hands-on BI tooling experience, preferably Power BI
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• Experience with CI/CD, source control and DevOps practices
