Overview

In this Senior Buyer – Technology role, you will manage a technology portfolio worth circa 60m, covering software, SaaS and IT services. You collaborate with senior stakeholders across a fast-paced organization to secure high-value contracts with leading providers. You will steer autonomous, impactful procurement initiatives within a strategic leadership team. This is a chance to shape technology sourcing and drive commercial outcomes in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology procurement portfolio (~£60m) across software, SaaS and IT services
• Lead high-value negotiations with top technology providers (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow)
• Partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation to influence decisions
• Operate with autonomy within a procurement leadership team to deliver commercial impact
• Support strategic business initiatives through effective sourcing and vendor management

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in Technology category and complex software contract negotiations
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience in a regulated environment (PA23 and/or PCR-2015) would be advantageous
• MCIPS qualification or working towards it
• Experience negotiating contracts with major software and IT service providers
