Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Leeds-based colleagues, managing priorities, capacity, capability, wellbeing and succession planning
• Collaborate with Cardiff to maintain an integrated delivery and resource plan for a joined-up function across locations
• Oversee the transaction management portfolio including set-up, asset/pool management, cash management, reporting, controls and lifecycle events
• Provide senior oversight of retail securitisation transactions, the covered bond programme and Bank of England Discount Window Facility activities
• Drive implementation to ensure transitions into ongoing management with clear ownership, procedures and controls
• Promote simplification, automation, continuous improvement and strong risk management across Treasury and partner functions

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering results through others
• 5+ years’ experience in securitisation, structured finance, treasury operations or related treasury function
• Strong knowledge of transaction processes, data, controls and lifecycle management, ideally for securitisation transactions
• Experience managing complex priorities, delivering operational excellence and maintaining risk and control frameworks
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
