Overview
In this role you will apply data science and analytics to real-world business problems across industries, helping clients design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions. You will work within BCG X to frame challenges, develop models, and scale implementations, partnering with cross-country client teams. You’ll also contribute to thought leadership and lead conferences, shaping AI-driven transformations. The work places emphasis on clear communication, build-ready deliverables, and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Frame new business challenges and define analytical scope
- Design and implement algorithms and models
- Deploy scalable analytics solutions in production
- Collaborate with clients and teams across regions
- Develop and deliver thought leadership and present at conferences
- Explain complex data science concepts in accessible terms
- Lead or contribute to project management and delivery
- Mentor and lead junior team members
Key requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in relevant field
- Significant experience applying advanced analytics to business problems
- Strong understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their business implications
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights
- Comfortable in a client-facing role with leadership ambitions
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with software development or DevOps is a plus
