Technology Value Manager

Overview

In this role you drive IT value realization for clients, shaping business cases and cost optimisation across hybrid and cloud-enabled landscapes. You work at the intersection of business and technology, engaging with senior clients and cross-functional teams to translate technology investments into measurable outcomes. You’ll monitor technology trends, inform CTO/CFO strategy, and help design operating models that enable scalable, value-driven transformation. This position offers the chance to influence major technology programs and contribute to Accenture’s mission of delivering tangible, speed-driven value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and articulate the value of enterprise technology investments to achieve strategic outcomes
• Monitor AI and technology trends and their impact on CTO/CFO decision-making
• Create client-facing business cases showing costs and benefits of technology transformation
• Support cost optimisation programmes across legacy, on-prem, hybrid cloud, SaaS, and AI deployments
• Help design and mobilise FinOps/TokenOps capabilities for cost transparency and ROI
• Advise on TBM-based financial management concepts within CTO context
• Provide frameworks and insights to support complex investment decisions aligned with strategic goals
• Support evolution from annual budgets to multi-year investment plans funding products over projects

Key requirements

• Experience analysing technology cost bases and providing optimisation recommendations
• Keen interest in emerging technologies (Gen AI, Agentic AI, TokenOps, Quantum)
• Experience with hybrid cloud, data platforms, SaaS, AI
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to interpret financial reports and link to technology spend and inventories
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
