Consulting Director

Overview

As Consulting Director in Technology at GlobalData, you lead strategic consulting engagements that translate research and analytics into actionable client value. You will shape and deliver customized solutions, manage client relationships, and guide a growing consulting team. This role blends strategy, market insight, and thought leadership to strengthen GlobalData’s position in the Technology sector. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and innovative offerings.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver projects meeting revenue targets with support from the consulting team
• Develop customized consulting solutions leveraging GlobalData’s research capabilities
• Manage client relationships and communicate insights to senior stakeholders
• Lead multiple assignments, ensuring on-time, scoped, and within-budget delivery
• Support long-term consulting strategy and new business opportunities
• Manage and develop the consulting team, fostering learning and high performance
• Create and share thought leadership materials and represent GlobalData at events
• Pursue continuous improvement of methodologies and stay updated on industry trends

Key requirements

• Strategic and analytical thinking to solve client issues
• Industry knowledge in Enterprise Software, Technology, and Telco sectors
• Financial acumen with track record of meeting targets (advantageous)
• Experience managing projects and small teams in client-facing roles
• Experience working with internal/external clients and presenting to senior management
• Strong technical skills in market sizing, competitive analysis, benchmarking, primary research, storytelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder influence
