Security Assessment Coordinator

Overview

In this role, you coordinate security assessments across applications, infrastructure, and third-party services to support effective cybersecurity governance. You will liaison between assessment teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring timely scoping, tracking, and remediation of findings. You contribute to reporting, dashboards, and risk-based decision making, helping the firm meet regulatory and policy standards. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage security assessments across apps, infrastructure, cloud, and third-party services
• Schedule penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, architecture reviews, and compliance checks
• Serve as primary liaison between assessment teams, project managers, technology owners, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Track scope, prerequisites, timelines, and deliverables; ensure alignment with security policies
• Maintain centralized repository of reports and findings; monitor remediation timelines and actions
• Prepare risk acceptance documents when remediation is not feasible on time
• Develop and maintain security assessment dashboards and executive reports
• Identify and implement process improvements for assessment workflows and tools

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, risk management, IT governance, or project coordination
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and data classification
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
