Senior Manager (Education)

Overview

In this Senior Manager role, you oversee a portfolio of education-focused AI projects, ensuring successful delivery and healthy margins. You’ll act as the senior client contact and partner with internal Faculty teams to shape outcomes. The position blends project leadership with business development, enabling growth within the Public Services unit. You’ll mentor cross-functional teams and consult with clients on AI strategy to drive real-world impact in education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of education portfolio ensuring quality, timeliness, and margin
• Maintain trusted client relationships and manage project scope and expectations
• Lead project meetings and communicate purpose and direction to teams and clients
• Identify risks early and lead mitigation actions for project success
• Develop compelling proposals and sales pitches to generate new leads and account growth
• Mentor and develop team members, aligning work with their growth
• Advise clients on AI strategy and solution value across business contexts

Key requirements

• Successful delivery of complex technology projects in consulting technology or data-driven organizations
• Strong ability to translate technical detail into business value for clients
• Experience and network in the education sector, understanding policy and technology
• Structured, analytical problem-solving and ability to define implementable solutions
• Experience delivering using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Comfort with ambiguous settings and structuring commercials/pricing
• Proven ability to identify and pursue business opportunities and support external business development
