Founder’s Associate – Marketplaces

Overview

As Founder’s Associate for Marketplaces, you will partner with senior leaders to scale and optimise Gopuff’s UK marketplace business, driving growth and profitability through strategic initiatives and execution. You’ll own promotions, pricing, merchandising, and marketing across marketplace platforms, and ensure data-driven decisions via reporting and forecasting. You’ll troubleshoot issues, conduct deep-dive analyses, and support partnerships and P&L management. This role blends strategic impact with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive promotions, pricing, merchandising, and marketing across marketplace platforms
• Monitor daily marketplace performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
• Build trackers, forecasting models, and weekly business reviews to support decision-making
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on promotions, pricing, customer behavior, and overall performance to identify growth opportunities
• Support commercial partnership management and negotiations to optimise joint business opportunities
• Assist P&L management by evaluating performance and resource allocation for promotions and marketing
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations to execute growth initiatives

Key requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, finance, e-commerce, or commercial role
• Strong problem-solving with bias for action and flexible mindset
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
• Leadership and collaborative skills with experience influencing diverse stakeholders
• Experience leading strategic planning and reporting to senior leadership
• Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting partnerships or driving growth
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets with forecasting and reporting experience
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
