In this role you will join a multidisciplinary team as a Consultant in Lower Limb Orthopaedics to deliver high-quality orthopaedic care at a Practice Plus Group hospital in Plymouth. You will support a broad range of day-case procedures and outpatient clinics within a safety-focused environment aligned to NHS and private patients. The role offers a structured yet flexible pattern, with opportunities for CPD and career development. Responsibilities

• perform orthopaedic surgical procedures and clinics for referred patients
• provide on-site orthopaedic surgical services within a day surgery unit and outpatient department
• contribute to high standards of patient care, safety, and recovery
• collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a well-structured hospital environment
• participate in CPD and ongoing professional development
• flexible working patterns within a largely Monday–Saturday rota

Key requirements

• Specialist Registered Orthopaedic Surgeon
• GMC Specialist Registration in relevant specialty or immediate eligibility for registration
• FRCS(Orth) or European equivalent
• Current UK professional registration
• UK DBS/CRB check as part of employment requirements
