Research Fellow – Battery Recycling & Advanced Shredding

The University of Birmingham is seeking a Research Fellow in the School of Metallurgy and Materials, based at Edgbaston, Birmingham. This fixed-term role is part of the SHREDDER project and involves developing and validating advanced shredding and separation processes for battery materials.

You will analyse data, contribute to bids, collaborate with industry partners, and publish findings while supporting further funding and commercialisation over a 36-month period.
