Octopus Energy Trading is seeking a data scientist to build and optimize models forecasting electricity demand and renewable generation, primarily for the GB intraday market, with growth into Western Europe. You’ll assemble data pipelines from internal and external sources and apply classical and ML techniques.
You will collaborate with Trading, Renewables, and other teams to deploy scalable forecasting tools and contribute to a flexible, data‑driven trading workflow within Octopus Energy
