Senior Python Engineer – Hedge Fund

Paragon are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a leading hedge fund. They are aggressively scaling after 3 years of serious returns.

This role will sit within compliance technology, and allow a key role in augementing this part of the business.

You’ll help design, build and enhance business-critical platforms supporting regulatory compliance, trade surveillance, monitoring and reporting across a sophisticated investment environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Python engineering experience, including APIs, automation and data pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience building scalable, reliable, production-grade systems.
• Exposure to financial services, hedge funds or regulatory technology advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with Compliance and business stakeholders.
