Job Description:

Newcastle upon Tyne dog walker wanted, self-employed, Town Moor to the coast

We are opening Newcastle on WoofWalk and have no walkers here yet, so the first three to sign up will be the ones owners see.

WoofWalk is a booking app used by dog owners across the UK. Walkers are self‑employed: you set your own prices and hours, owners book you through the app and pay through it, and the money comes to you. We do not employ you, there is no wage, and bookings are not guaranteed. You accept or decline each one.

What Newcastle walkers charge on public sitter sites: half‑hour walks from £6 to £25, around £15 typically, home visits around £13, and home boarding about £35 a night. You choose your own figure; we show you what you would keep after commission before you set it.

The ground is good: Jesmond Dene, Exhibition Park and the Town Moor in the city, with Tynemouth and Whitley Bay beaches half an hour out on the Metro.

Terms in plain words. Nothing to pay to join. No commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, falling to 10% for life once five of your clients have joined through you. You sort out your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.

Who it suits: anyone over 18 who is free mid‑morning or at lunchtime on weekdays, which is when owners at work need someone. One regular slot a few days a week is a real start.
