Finance Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a portfolio of finance transformation projects within a global consultancy, driving improvements in processes, governance, and systems. You’ll work with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to deliver measurable benefits and enhance reporting and efficiency. You operate in a hybrid Bath-based setup and contribute to strategic change across the organisation. Responsibilities

• Lead multiple finance projects from initiation to implementation
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, budgets and governance
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Drive finance process improvement, automation and standardisation
• Support finance system implementations, upgrades and integrations
• Establish project governance, reporting and decision-making frameworks
• Coordinate testing, training, UAT and deployment activities
• Ensure projects deliver measurable benefits aligned to business objectives

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading and delivering projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent project planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing project governance, risks and dependencies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Experience using project management methodologies and tools
