Litigation Executive / Associate – Liability Defence

Overview

In this hybrid role, you will manage a varied caseload of employers’ liability and public liability claims, spanning pre-litigation and litigated matters. You will join a respected defendant PI team and work closely with partners, handling high-value, multi-track matters across multiple sectors. You’ll balance proactive case management with strong client relationship building while developing your expertise. Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of complex employers’ liability and public liability claims (pre-litigation and litigated)
• Work on high-value, multi-track cases, including multi-defendant and Part 20 claims
• Collaborate with partners and experts and manage client relationships
• Contribute to cases across sectors such as construction, manufacturing, leisure and retail
• Support development and progression within a highly regarded team

Key requirements

• UK qualified Solicitor or CILEX (or equivalent experience)
• Around 2-5 years’ experience in defendant personal injury litigation
• Experience assisting on complex multi-track matters
• Basic understanding of policy coverage
• Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
• Proactive, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple cases
• Comfortable working in a team and managing own workload
