Pricing Analyst

Overview

You will join the Animal Health Portfolio Management Team to convert data insights into pricing decisions that support business objectives. You’ll collaborate with underwriting, marketing and actuarial to shape pricing and tariff structures, and translate data outcomes for non-technical stakeholders. The role offers hands-on data work from source to model, with opportunities to influence pricing updates and business strategy. It’s a growth-focused position in a supportive, hybrid work environment with exposure to management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating the impact of pricing updates and identify process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support new product structures and tariff development
• Work with data from source to modelling rating changes and implementing updates
• Analyse data, interpret results, and present findings to non-technical audiences
• Regularly review pricing and underwriting monitors and escalate key findings
• Proactively monitor underwriting footprint and suggest adjustments
• Assist with BAU tasks including reporting

Key requirements

• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with large, complex data sets
• Experience with analytics tools: SQL, Alteryx, MS Excel, VBA, PowerBI
• Numerate with A-levels (essential) and strong numerical ability and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with conflicting data and identify trends
• Stakeholder management experience and ability to build relationships across teams
• Well-developed organisational and planning abilities
