Overview

In this role you apply technical pig nutrition expertise to advise customers and support feed formulation, delivering practical performance improvements. You will work with pig producers, feed mills, and industry partners to drive business growth through strong relationships. The role blends science with commercial impact, including R&D contributions and on-farm analysis. You join a collaborative, purpose-driven team within AB Agri to advance responsible, evidence-based nutrition across the UK market.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nutritional and technical support to pig industry customers
• Build and manage relationships with feed mills, home-mix customers, and producers
• Formulate diets and support feed formulation activities
• Conduct farm visits and analyse performance data to identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to customer trials, R&D projects, and technical presentations
• Support business growth by developing new opportunities and retaining existing customers

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in animal science, Veterinary Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of pig nutrition and pig production systems
• Experience applying animal nutrition in a commercial or technical environment
• Ability to interpret performance data and provide practical recommendations
• Good understanding of feed legislation, industry standards, and customer needs
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
