Site Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead on-site delivery of high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects in Edinburgh, ensuring safe, on-time, and quality-focused execution. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and the delivery team to maintain standards and resolve issues. The position offers progression within an established contractor and exposure to premium commercial and hospitality projects. You will shape project outcomes through hands-on leadership and a strong safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Coordinating site activities and project sequencing
• Monitoring programme, progress and quality
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety
• Managing site logistics and deliveries
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the project team
• Identifying and resolving issues on site
• Ensuring a high-quality finish through to completion

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Strong experience within fit-out and refurbishment
• Ideally, experience within hotel, hospitality or high-end commercial projects
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
• Strong subcontractor and trade management skills
• Excellent health & safety awareness
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding programmes
• A strong eye for detail and quality
• A professional approach when dealing with clients and project teams
