Cyber Security Growth Specialist

Overview

As a Cyber Security Business Development Executive, you will drive new business opportunities and pipeline for AvePoint security solutions within the UK channel. You will partner with internal teams and resellers to grow opportunities, demonstrate value, and support customer security strategies. You’ll travel to client and partner sites, manage forecasting via CRM, and contribute to marketing and business plans. This role offers specialist growth in a high-growth cyber security vendor and a chance to shape partner success.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities and pipeline for AvePoint solutions
• Build and nurture partner relationships and support reseller recruitment
• Collaborate with internal teams to progress opportunities
• Deliver solution demonstrations and articulate value of AvePoint technologies
• Assist with opportunity qualification, pricing, quoting, and proposals
• Conduct partner visits and customer meetings across the UK
• Maintain pipeline and forecasting in CRM systems
• Prepare reports, business plans, and collaborative marketing initiatives
• Stay updated on cyber security trends and vendor developments

Key requirements

• Experience in IT sales, business development, or related commercial role
• Genuine passion for cyber security and technology
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to engage confidently with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Proactive approach to generating new business opportunities
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using CRM platforms and sales management tools (advantageous)
• Willingness to travel regularly (partner visits several days per week)
