Senior leadership role directing a Cardiff Building Surveying team within a respected property consultancy. You will drive regional growth, deliver high-quality consultancy across core surveying services, and strengthen senior client relationships. You’ll shape service strategy in collaboration with regional and national leaders, while ensuring performance, quality and client satisfaction. This autonomous position offers strategic influence, market expansion and exposure to high-profile commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to the Building Surveying team
• Lead service delivery across core building surveying functions (technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration, surveys, advisory work)
• Develop senior-level client relationships and act as trusted advisor across the region
• Drive business development and identify opportunities to expand service offering
• Ensure high standards of quality, technical delivery and client satisfaction
• Coordinate with regional and national leaders to align with wider business strategy
• Oversee operational performance, resource planning and financial targets

Key requirements

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive consultancy experience
• Proven leadership at Director/Associate Director/Head-of-Team level
• Strong commercial and client-facing skills with a track record of winning and delivering work
• Excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of building surveying services
• Confident, strategic and collaborative with a proactive growth mindset
• Able to inspire and motivate teams while embedding high performance
