Overview

As Senior Family Solicitor you will lead the new Milton Keynes office for a renowned niche family firm, handling high net worth private family matters. You will collaborate with senior leaders to foster growth, shape service delivery, and expand the firm’s client base. You’ll mentor junior lawyers and drive business development in a client‑focused, supportive culture. This role offers meaningful impact through scaling a new location and strengthening complex family law advisory. You will help shape the firm’s expansion and reputation in the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish the Milton Keynes office as part of the firm’s growth strategy
• Manage high net worth family matters including finances, divorce, mediation, civil partnerships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and private children matters
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff
• Drive business development and networking to grow client base and cross-sell services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality client outcomes and a client-focused culture

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ family law experience
• Experience in managing and mentoring juniors
