Junior Planner

Overview

In this role you support the planning team to ensure high-quality data, accurate governance, and insightful reporting that informs decisions. You will work within CMDP to maintain PowerBI-based management information, enabling better project visibility and risk management. Based at the Falmer office with site and office travel, you’ll help keep baselines, milestones and forecasts aligned with project plans. This is an opportunity to grow planning skills while contributing to essential water infrastructure across Sussex, Kent and Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule health checks and fix data errors
• Manage governance coding and reporting to ensure accurate CMDP calendars
• Code programs for PowerBI reporting to pull correct data
• Monitor Stage 1 risk management and ensure risks and mitigations are reported
• Forecast and code SCOs for each project to support management
• Update Purchasers Obligations and site-specific requirements
• Ensure accurate Level 2 milestone forecasts in programmes
• Integrate CS/CEMAR data into programmes
• Capture baselines per Stage 1, Stage 2, Start on Site procedures
• End of Month reporting checks including narratives and milestone movements
• Forecast and plan resources and subcontracting using actual data
• Resource planning using current and forecasted site workloads
• Assist with estimating demand forecasting and prioritisation
• Maintain SWS codes for accurate reporting
• Maintain procurement coding for schedule reporting
• Post time-critical risks to P6 (OPI risk time posting)
• Assist with board package planning documents
• Produce weekly site photo reports showing progress
