Power Platform Consultant

Overview

As a Power Platform specialist, you design and implement automation solutions to boost operational efficiency for Professional Services and student-facing teams. You collaborate with stakeholders to co-design solutions, translate requirements into scalable designs, and build workflows using Power Automate with integrations to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Dynamics. You ensure high-quality delivery, provide expert guidance on the Power Platform, and create reusable documentation to support ongoing development in line with university aims.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
• Translate requirements into clear functional/technical designs
• Design and implement automation with the Power Platform (focus on Power Automate)
• Build scalable workflows integrating with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics and APIs/connectors
• Support testing to ensure functionality and quality
• Serve as Power Platform subject matter expert and advise on best practices
• Create reusable Power Platform documentation and components (playbooks, blueprints)
• Perform other duties as needed within the post scope

Key requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate
• Ability to translate business needs into functional/technical designs
• Experience building workflows that integrate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics, and external APIs/connectors
• Experience with testing and ensuring quality of solutions
• Subject matter expertise in Power Platform and best practices
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and co-design solutions
• Documentation skills for reusable components (playbooks, blueprints)
