We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a busy property repairs and maintenance team, carrying out a varied range of external works across domestic properties.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Groundworker looking for a stable role where you’ll be trusted to manage a varied workload including paving, drainage, concreting, excavations, fencing and brickwork repairs.
You’ll be working across residential properties, delivering high-quality repairs with a strong focus on completing works safely and getting the job right first time.
The Role
- Paving repairs and installations, including slabbing and block paving.
- Concreting paths, patios, steps and hard standings.
- Completing shuttering works where required.
- Repairing and replacing clay and UPVC underground drainage systems.
- Excavating and backfilling in accordance with building regulations.
- Installing and repairing concrete and timber fence posts.
- Installing fence panels and close-board fencing.
- Brickwork repairs and pointing.
- Carrying out associated general building repairs.
- Completing essential reinstatement works following repairs.
- Ensuring properties and external areas are left safe, secure and tidy.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant construction trade.
- Experience with paving, slabbing and block paving.
- Concreting experience, including paths, patios and steps.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
