As a Structural Engineer in Waterman Group’s Birmingham Structures team, you will contribute to a wide range of sectors from healthcare to residential and retail, helping deliver sustainable, innovative schemes. Responsibilities

• Produce calculations and specifications for structural designs
• Conduct technical reviews of drawings and junior engineers’ designs
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Attend coordination, design team, and site meetings
• Perform Finite Element Analysis
• Coordinate with software tools such as Robot, MasterSeries, Etabs, Tedds, CSC Fastrac Building Designer

Key requirements

• Relevant civil or structural engineering degree
• Experience with production of calculations and specifications
• Technical review skills for drawings and junior designs
• Experience with tender and contract document preparation
• Participation in coordination, design team and site meetings
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis
• Knowledge of software including Robot, MasterSeries, Etabs, Tedds, CSC Fastrac Building Designer
