Financial Reporting, Associate, Fund Services (Glasgow)

Overview

In this role you will support the Financial Reporting Team in preparing hedge fund financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting. You will collaborate with client-facing managers, fund accountants, and auditors to deliver accurate reports and audit packs on time. The position offers exposure to complex financial statements in the fund services space and the chance to impact client deliverables and compliance. You will work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to efficient processes and strong controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS and related disclosures
• Produce audit packs and supporting schedules for hedge funds
• Assist auditors by providing backup data for disclosures
• Ensure timely delivery of statements within deadlines
• Follow internal control policies and procedures

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ICAS or relevant professional accounting degree
• Experience with accounting firms, asset managers or hedge fund administrators preferable
• Ability to multi-task and escalate issues timely
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of securities, derivatives and fixed income products
• Client-focused with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
