Groundworkers With Dumper Slinger

Overview

In this role you support a key debris screen installation on a civil engineering site. You work with the site team to install the debris screen, assist subcontractors during pours, and perform general groundworks with a safety-focused mindset. Your expertise with dumper operation or sling/signaller duties helps the project run smoothly at Kendal. The opportunity offers consistent hours, reliable work, and immediate starts on a meaningful infrastructure project. You will collaborate across trades to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with debris screen installation
• Operate Forward Tipping Dumper (where ticketed)
• Carry out Slinger/Signaller duties (where ticketed)
• Support subcontractors during concrete pours
• General groundworks and labouring duties
• Maintain high health and safety standards on site

Key requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Slinger/Signaller ticket
• Groundworks and civil engineering project experience
• Two recent, checkable work references
• Site PPE (Mandatory)
