Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative – Poole – £30,000

TeamJobs are working with a well-established manufacturing company in Poole who are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm




• Friday 8:30am-4:00pm




• 39.5 hours per week

The Role:

• Operating CNC machinery including Press Brakes, Guillotines and Turret Punches




• Producing aluminium and galvanised metal trims and flashings




• Manufacturing bespoke profiles from customer specifications and technical drawings




• Checking finished products meet the required quality and specification




• Supporting other areas of the workshop when required




• Ensuring machinery and working areas are maintained safely

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous sheet metal fabrication experience is essential




• Experience operating Press Brakes and Guillotines




• Ability to confidently read and understand technical drawings




• Strong attention to detail




• Good Health & Safety awareness




• A positive, hands‑on attitude




• Experience with CNC Turret Punches, fibre laser cutting or powder coating would be an advantage.
